Carrots cooked in honey and ginger
Ginger adds a twist to a favourite that's popular with all ages. This makes an easy dinner side that could be eaten alongside brown rice and chicken.
Ingredients
- 500g carrots, very thinly sliced
- 1 tbsp butter
- 1 tbsp honey
- juice of 1 lemon
- 1 tsp fresh ginger, grated

Put the carrots in a wide pan with the butter, honey, lemon and ginger. Cover and cook slowly until tender.
